Chickweed Extra Strength Skin Restore Topical Cream has been specifically formulated with additional ingredients to help restore and hydrate inflamed, dry, scaly and compromised skin from excess Cortisone cream usage.
Chickweed may be effective for treating these conditions because it contains relatively large amounts of vitamins, including the antioxidant vitamin C, and flavonoids (as noted by the University of Michigan Health System).
It also contains the omega-6 fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid, which may reduce inflammation (according to the University of Maryland Medical Centre). It is an excellent product suitable for the most delicate and sensitive skin, non-greasy, readily absorbed, fast acting and effective, with no nasty parabens, silicone, sulphates or petrochemicals.
Cardiospermum Halicacabum is an official drug of German Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia where the mother tincture is made of flowering tops. It is found to be a highly efficacious medicine for eczema and some skin symptoms such as erythema, silvery white scaly skin, thickened skin, dryness, itching, pain, scaling etc. for external use.
